Remove lightning damage to CAMPS in Skyline Valley

The Issue

As a passionate player who has spent countless hours building creative CAMPs in Skyline Valley, I believe the current environmental hazard of lightning is both unnecessary and hinderance to our creative expression. The damage caused by lightning strikes to CAMPs not only dissuades players from utilizing this region but contradicts the recent direction Bethesda has taken to support creativity within the community through features like the CAMP ReVamp update.

Skyline Valley is renowned for its atmospheric gothic and creepy aesthetic, making it a prime location for players wishing to create Halloween-themed or spooky CAMPs. However, the constant threat of having our creations destroyed by lightning discourages many builders from realizing the potential of this unique area. In addition to breaking the consistency found in other regions—where such environmental hazards are absent—this mechanic provides no meaningful gaming benefit and only serves to frustrate dedicated builders.

The CAMP ReVamp update clearly demonstrated Bethesda's commitment to empowering users with more building freedom, removal of immersive restrictions, and promoting an experimental spirit among builders. With this petition, we seek the elimination of lightning damage to CAMP structures in Skyline Valley. This change will align with Bethesda’s intention to support the building community, allowing for unlimited creativity and experimentation in this darkly iconic area of the game.

By signing this petition, you are not just supporting a small change but advocating for a richer, more creative gameplay experience in Skyline Valley. Together, we can ensure that this region becomes a creative haven where player vision can flourish without the looming risk of destruction.

Please sign and share this petition if you agree that Skyline Valley should be liberated from unnecessary lightning damage, and let's create a welcoming space for creativity in the aesthetics so many of us have grown to love. Your signature is a vital step towards preserving the spirit of innovative CAMP building. Thank you for your support.
