Petition to Remove the Kafé Dostoyevsky Map from Rainbow Six Siege
Dear Rainbow Six Siege Team,
We, the players of Rainbow Six Siege, are asking that you please consider removing the Kafé Dostoyevsky map from the game. While the map has a unique look and setting, it has several problems that make it less enjoyable and balanced for players. Here are the main reasons why we think this map should be taken out:
1. Unfair Map Layout
The layout of Kafé Dostoyevsky makes certain bomb sites (especially on the second floor) much easier to defend, putting attackers at a disadvantage. This creates a repetitive and frustrating experience where defenders have a strong advantage, which isn't fair in competitive play.
2. Limited Strategy Options
The map does not allow for a lot of different strategies. Most teams end up using the same tactics over and over because the map layout is predictable. This limits creative play and reduces the skill and teamwork that Rainbow Six Siege is known for.
3. Tight Spaces and Awkward Flow
The map has many tight spaces that make it hard for teams to move around together. Since it has multiple floors stacked on each other, attackers often struggle to clear each floor and take control of areas. This makes the game feel chaotic instead of strategic, which takes away from the experience.
4. Bad Lighting in Some Areas
Some parts of Kafé Dostoyevsky are too dark, making it hard to see enemies clearly. This makes fights feel unfair and can frustrate both attackers and defenders, who rely on clear visuals to plan their moves and spot enemies.
5. Player Feedback
Many players in the Rainbow Six Siege community have shared their frustration with Kafé Dostoyevsky. In polls and online discussions, players have repeatedly suggested removing or changing this map to make the game more balanced and fun.
6. Room for Better Maps
Removing Kafé Dostoyevsky could make space for other maps that provide a more balanced and interesting experience. Newer or updated maps are often better suited to the current gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege, which has changed a lot since Kafé Dostoyevsky was first added.
In summary, we believe removing Kafé Dostoyevsky from Rainbow Six Siege would make the game more enjoyable and balanced for everyone. We ask that you consider this feedback from the community to improve the game’s map selection.
Thank you for considering our request.
Sincerely,
[A fellow R6 player]
