Thanks so much for signing the petition and continuing to share the link. At this coming Tuesday’s Anchorage Assembly meeting I will present our petition to the Mayor and the Assembly. It will happen near the start of initial audience participation (between 5:15 and 5:40 pm). It would be wonderful to fill the chambers with people who support having a qualified person run Anchorage’s library system. Stay to cheer on the certification of the ballot count of our recent Assembly races, which saw the reelection of three Assembly members who strongly support qualified librarians. Please attend if you can at the Loussac on Tuesday (see attached flyer).
