Remove joplin, missouri officials for rights violations

The Issue

For years, I have faced relentless targeting by the Jasper County judges, the Joplin Court, and the Joplin Police Department. My ordeal began when I started fighting for the rights of my grandchildren who were taken into CPS custody in what I believe was an illegal manner—without a warrant or a court order. In my quest for justice, I was not just ignored; I was victimized. Protest led to waves of retaliation: eviction from my home, unwarranted protection orders, and multiple arrests—all without just cause, all for the simple act of protesting.

My story is not isolated—it's emblematic of a systemic problem in Joplin, Missouri. Reports of misconduct and violations of constitutional rights by county judges and the chief of police are not uncommon. Many have testimonies of being treated unjustly, with their voices silenced in the hallowed halls of justice. These officials, who are supposed to uphold the law, seem instead to wield it as a weapon against those they are meant to serve.

Across the United States, there are 539,000 children in CPS custody, and while each situation is unique, it’s crucial these cases are handled lawfully and ethically. In Joplin, there's a pattern of misconduct by officials—it’s time for accountability. Holding these officials accountable is not just about individual justice, but about ensuring the integrity of our legal and child protective systems.

We demand the removal of these County judges and the chief of police to ensure justice and restore faith in our system. This petition is a call to action to the Missouri judicial oversight authorities and the state government to investigate these claims thoroughly and take appropriate action. It is imperative that the people responsible for upholding the law do so with integrity and respect for all citizens' rights.

Join us in demanding a system that works for the people, not against them. Please sign this petition to bring the much-needed change to Joplin, Missouri, and protect the rights of families and individuals within our community. Your voice matters; let it be heard.
