For the past four months, the community served by our Volunteer Fire Department has faced unprecedented challenges due to the negligence of two critical board members, Warren Todd Peele and Don Jaeger. As a direct result of their failure to fulfill their duties, including attending mandatory board meetings, essential services and payments have been neglected.

Specifically, their consistent absence and abrupt exits from board meetings have led directly to unpaid department bills. This includes utilities like electricity and phones, which have reached the brink of disconnection, as well as crucial insurance coverage. The situation escalated further when payments to our dedicated firefighters were halted, leaving them uncompensated for their invaluable service to our community for the last four months.

Our firefighters risk their lives daily to protect our homes and loved ones, and it is absolutely unacceptable for them to go unpaid due to mismanagement. Our community thrives in safety and security because of their sacrifices, and they deserve robust support and proper leadership from the board members.

Therefore, we must take immediate action to ensure accountability and proper governance. By removing board members Warren Todd Peele and Don Jaeger, we can restore the order and functionality of our Fire Department's operations.
