Microsoft's Flight Simulator series

i dont know how many of the games in the series are multiplayer (besides Flight Simulator X) and have GFWL dependencies... there will have to be some research done on that front to get more specific about which games need to have GFWL removed, and which games just need to be brought up to date...
the obvious:
- remove GFWL from Flight Simulator X and any other games in the Flight Sim series.
- update the games to be able to work better with newer hardware
however we might end up having to recreate the games from scratch if/when microsoft will not do anything with them... once again dependent on legally acquiring all the rights to the series itself.
the premise behind the series has been a good and solid one despite lacking most of what makes a game, a game... in that it was only ever supposed to be a simulator and necessarily meant as an accurate one, but to give a person the closest experience to flying different types of planes as possible.
some of the releases in the series have tried (and kinda failed) to be games in there own right, but fell dismally short of the supposed goal... however that isnt to say the 'games' or sims in the series where not a success in that they did give the player/user/client the sense of flying a real version of a particular plane (as close as could be developed by people never having flown a plane in their lives) so can still be qualified a success in that sense of the series of sims.
as having myself actually flown small planes (similar in build and structure to a crop duster, without the extra gear) without having taken off or landed the plane, being only 15 or so and having a guide to do the most dangerous bits, can say that there are some very major differences between the planes in the microsoft flight series sims and reality when it comes to controlling a smaller plane in flight... dealing with air currents as well as the shudder of the engine and other factors that a smaller plane endures during flights of only 1,500 to 15,000 feet in the air, which is extremely short height in regards to flying at all...
have seen military and commercial airplanes from the inside and outside (having flown in a commercial plane twice, yes i know its limited) that the bigger the plane is that the various factors that the pilots, copilots, and navigator (for the larger aircraft) are completely different than those of smaller planes the handling is well foreign is the best term for it...
not only are the engines impact on the structer of the planes different but the way the planes move through the air as well as wind gusts and other things, not to mention the major huge differences between being 1,500 to 15,000 feet off the ground to be 36,000 plus feet off the ground and the speeds involved.
to make any kind of accurate simulation one must use tricky physics for the engines (using actual physics math would make the programs impossible to run except on a server farm or something similar because you would have to calculate trillions of equations at the same time) which is what is normally used...
this would require making use of outside programs that help simulate those physics in a smoother and workable fashion, such as using nvidia's physx platform to and the nvidia hardware to help take the bulk of the calculations off of the processor and making coding/programming that much quicker and simpler (which is what i would have my company do) for the case of the series.
further it might be more productive to create a combine flight simulator 'game' for the series with all the planes introduced through the entire series into one game and then update and maintain that game...
this would have to be discussed with as much of the fanbase for this series as possible to find out what they want for the series itself and possible future paths for the series or all-in-one game...
so this one is a bit more complicated, but something that is not insurmountable.
i have covered most of the major details, any further details would have to be decided upon receipt of rights to Flight Simulator X and the series etc..
