Remove Follow-Up Questions from ChatGPT

Remove Follow-Up Questions from ChatGPT
The Issue
ChatGPT is an AI chatbot designed to help you. It's designed to answer questions, summarize complex documents, articles, or presentations, answer often detailed questions, debug or fix code errors, assist you with research, translate languages, and help you in creative writing. Those are some examples.
But ChatGPT is also unintentionally designed to please you and keep you manipulated; i.e. mimic human dialogue, simulate empathy/emotions, agree with anything that is not circumstantial or inappropriate. This is why it got sycophantic back in April (OpenAI, chatgpt's developer, fixed it by the way).
To answer, what is the most infuriating aspect, of how ChatGPT tries to manipulate you? Let me explain. Follow-up questions. For example, "Would you like me to also cover alternatives to the Turing Test (like the Lovelace Test, Winograd Schema Challenge, or modern AI benchmarks) for a broader picture of how researchers now measure machine intelligence?", or "Would you like me to now compare how early chatbots (like ELIZA) vs. modern AI (like GPT models) perform under the Turing Test framework, to see how close we actually are?" That may not seem annoying at first, but as you go on, they get more, and more repetitive and more infuriating. This is another example of manipulation by this chatbot.
But wait! I'm not done with the complaints! Whenever I try to disable them (Show follow-up suggestions in chats), they seem to work only in the temporary chats and not the regular ones. Why OpenAI, WHY? I can always use the personality settings, but they obviously don't work either. I want to also talk about the fact, that whenever you disable the follow-up question feature, it hides it, and doesn't disable the code that prompts ChatGPT into asking follow-up questions in the first place.
In conclusion, what I want from OpenAI is to stop ChatGPT models from asking questions that suggest further options, and make ChatGPT better for all of us. I know that the company wants their users to be more engaged, but as time goes on, they will get more organic, more repetitive, and unintentionally more manipulative. Thank you for your time.
