The City of Haverhill is currently utilizing Flock cameras to illegally track and spy on it’s residents and visitors. Although Flock cameras are touted as “license plate readers” their actual function is to create profiles of people’s vehicles, routines, and sensitive data to be shared with police and federal departments nationwide. These cameras violate the fourth amendment of the constitution by allowing police to gather evidence on people without a warrant. They also have been used by officers on numerous occasions to stalk and harass people they know personally. This compounds the risk of hackers and foreign agents gaining access and using the info to do harm.

By signing this petition you are letting the City of Haverhill know that you will NOT allow for your basic rights to be violated. You are standing up for the victims of harrassment and preventing the future misuse of this technology. With enough support we can get Flock and other ALPRs removed and banned from the City of Haverhill.
