Moreover, the expenditure of taxpayer dollars on this intrusive technology could instead be diverted to community-based initiatives, such as neighborhood watch programs and increased human police presence, which have been proven to enhance safety without compromising rights.

We understand the need for peace and security within our neighborhoods, yet it must not come at the cost of our privacy. Therefore, we urge our local government and decision-makers to remove the existing Flock cameras installed in Floyd County and Rome City, and to prevent any future implementation of such surveillance technologies in our area.
