C95 has been the city of Saskatoon's number one hit music station for decades, and it's my favourite station to listen to when I'm going shopping or when I'm in the car on the way to school. However, what bothers me is the fact that they allow singers who openly support genocide to be on their schedule.

When Macklemore opened for Ed Sheeran during his concert, he advocated for and spoke up about the atrocities that Palestinians are currently going through. P!NK then decided to go on her Instagram story and falsely accuse him of being anti-Semitic, calling for all concertgoers of Ed Sheeran to get refunds. P!NK proved herself to be someone who is against the stopping of genocide, and someone who doesn't know the difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.

Furthermore, after Macklemore was dropped from the tour , Ed Sheeran would respond on Instagram claiming that he was neutral when it came to the genocide. As the headliner of the tour, he had the ultimate power when it came to Macklemore opening for him at his concerts. Instead, he chose to bow down to Robert Kraft's decision and remove him from all future concerts in the tour.

My goal for this petition is to get C95's attention and make a change that, though small, can lead to big changes in the kind of singers people listen to. With your help, I can get enough attention to make a beneficial change when it comes to genocide.
