There needs to be a different solution for aggressive dogs instead of completely banning a breed. All dogs are capable of being aggressive, this a due to the owners and/or the environments they are raised in..

Because of these breed restrictions, innocent pets are being euthanatized. And most of them will finish their lives in a shelter because they cannot be adopted out. Shelters are bombarded with these breeds and families are losing their pets.

Current breed restrictions: In Aurora, Castle Rock, Commerce City, Denver, Fort Lupton, Lousiville: Pit Bulls. For Lone Tree: All "fighting" breeds including: Pit Bulls, American bulldogs, dogo argentines, canary dogs, presa mallorquins, tosa inus, cane corsos and fila brasilairos.

Help lift these ridiculous bans! "Punish the deed, not the breed". The owners should be the ones who get punished, not the dogs.

American Pitbull Terriers have scored an 86% on ATTS.org; they have awesome temperaments! Statistics do not lie, so lets all fight this together.

We are going to take this to the ballots for 2017. We will need as many signatures and support as we can get.
