Thank you very much for signing the petition on Change.org to remove and reconsider using cattle grids in Castle Meadows, Abergavenny. 

I sent the petition to Monmouthshire County Council, but the Agenda Item was withdrawn from yesterday's Planning Committee and my understanding is that further research and consultation will take place before any more decisions are made. We collected over 1000 signatures in three days, so it is clear that local people feel strongly about this issue.

In the meantime, if anyone has the energy for more petitions,  an 'official' MCC one can be found here:

Once this ePetition reaches 25 signatories, it will automatically be referred to the Planning Committee, as a matter of policy, so it may hold more sway than the 'unofficial' one you have already signed on Change.org
