Kia ora one. Kia ora all.
First and foremost, a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has spread this petition, had conversations with others about it, promoted it and - most of all SIGNED it.
Because of this, we are fast approaching 10,000 signatures - likely to reach that number before 2359 tonight N.Z.T. Because of this we now have a credible petition that at 40 signatures a page, would be now about 235 pages long and growing. When I export this to Excel and check the legibility, I am looking forward to seeing how much work it has to do loading all the signatures you wonderful people have put on it.
BUT before then, there is still work to be done. There is still room for further growth in this petition.
We got this far by being a team. A team that has generated some impressive statistics.
- 34,896 views have been had of the petition
- 3,545 people have shared this petition
- 294 people have very kindly chipped money in to promote this
This is you great people at work.
There has been widespread fallout from the actions of Destiny Church, which justify us keeping going on this petition for a bit longer yet.
Police say protest was intimidating and unacceptable
Children and teenagers upset by Destiny Church behaviour
Behaviour like this is NEVER acceptable. You've all shown that you understand this clearly and agree. Let us continue this great effort to make sure Destiny Church get the message in a way they cannot ignore: Removal of their charity status.
In solidarity,
Rob
