Kia ora one. Kia ora all.
Rob Glennie, the organizer of this petition here. I just want to thank everyone who has signed, promoted, shared, mentioned or otherwise helped to spread this petition around.
When I started this, I had no idea how many signatures it was going to get. At the end of Day 1, we have collected 1,000+ and climbing steadily.
I want to share with you an image taken by none other than Brian Tamaki himself of a Police officer confronting the mob as they appear to be doing a Haka. I assume that they were laying down some kind of challenge to the officer to provoke him.
Aside from the 1,000+ good reasons that have already accumulated on the petition, there is plenty of incentive to keep going on this, as seen in the links below.

Other petitions are also in progress at the moment for the same reason, but some of them are nearly a year old and I am not sure if their organizers are aware that they have suddenly become active again. Petitions are only impactful if they get delivered to the target official or organization that can effect a meaningful outcome.
To that end, we need to keep going, because I would like to eventually hand over a meaningful petition to an M.P. in Parliament who can action it - if not Louise Upston, Minister for Community and the Voluntary Sector, who has the power to get Destiny Church deregistered as a charity.
So, please DO keep up the signatures, the promotion, the sharing and any conversations you have started around this. All of it is very useful for bringing awareness to the problem with Destiny Church: It is NOT a charity.
In solidarity,
Rob
