Cassie Porter has abused her power as the superintendent of Wetzel County Schools. She closed Paden City High School due to "health concerns" in direct contradiction to the findings of the EPA. She has a consolidation goal and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She has managed to win over the state department of education with her lies. The board of education members, our elected officials, either fear her or do not care what the people of Wetzel County want. She needs to be removed from her position of power, and PCHS needs to be reopened to all students and staff.
