Remove Bonnie Ross as head of 343 Industries

Remove Bonnie Ross as head of 343 Industries
The Issue
Halo has been one of the most influential franchises in the videogame industry since its inception in 2001. The Bungie trilogy, Reach and ODST sold more than 20 million copies combined and Halo was at its peak in popularity for being an unique military sci-fi videogame series. Since 343 took over in 2011, Halo as a brand has been suffering a decline in popularity and the company, a terrible mismanagement. This problem has a name: Bonnie Ross.
She is a great visionary and I'm sure she's a great asset for Microsoft and Xbox Studios, but as the head of 343 Industries, she has been responsible for all the terrible decisions Halo has suffered in the last ten years. Let's list some of these:
- Halo CE Anniversary. An unfaithful "remake" of the original CE.
- Halo 4. A terrible sequel aimed for COD fans which fans stopped playing in three months.
- Halo TMCC. A broken mess of a game that took 5 years to get better.
- Halo 5. An incomplete game that took 5 more years to get better.
- Halo Infinite. Another incomplete game that probably will take 5 years to get better too.
- Halo TV series. A mediocre TV series created to catter to a new audience.
There's a pattern here: Bonnie Ross doesn't care about the Halo brand anymore. Halo fans have been suffering this for more than ten years, and everytime 343 does something right, there are three things they do wrong. The mismanagmente is clear. Bonnie Ross is responsible for the current state of the Halo franchise.
Let's remember all these "mistakes" 343 Industries has comitted have cost Microsoft millions of dollars. The Master Chief Collection fiasco last around 5 years and another studio (within the company) ended up fixing the game in 2019. Halo 5 is the worst selling main Halo game to date and Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer MTX are comically overpriced. The Halo TV series had been in development hell since 2014 and the final product is so mediocre that the first two episodes were streamed for FREE a week after their releases only to sum up to 10k viewers on YouTube. It's clear that the franchise has financial struggles.
343 Industries head Bonnie Ross needs to be replaced by someone who actually understands what Halo really means. The company needs a capable leader, a person who puts the original Bungie vision before their financial and political agendas. Bonnie Ross needs to be FIRED.
