Bonnie "Mesanna" Armstrong (herein after referred to as Mesanna) has been leading the team of developers for Ultima Online for too long and the players are the ones who suffer the most from her poor leadership and decisions.

1. Mesanna refuses to permanently ban players for terms of use violations like harassment, theft, and scripting despite multiple reports from the player community and instead only temporarily suspending the account for 2 weeks.
2. Mesanna plays favorites with the various game servers creating an uneven gaming experience.  This includes event cycles being released earlier for some servers (not including the designated test server) and granting privileges to players of one server and enforcing limitations on others.
3. Mesanna refuses to listen to players when they suggest ideas for new content during the Developer Meet & Greets.  This also leads to known issues and glitches going unresolved for years.
4. The last update/expansion created for the game was in 2015.  Any in-game events that takes place now are just recycled versions of past events with no truly new content.
5. Changes that have been made to the game are ones that cause newer players to suffer by preventing them from attaining vital in-game items until their account reaches a certain age.
6. Mesanna has also failed to communicate definitive dates and times for when event cycles will begin and end causing players miss out on opportunities and items.
7. Mesanna's decisions and lack of action has jeopardized the integrity of both the Governor and Event Moderator programs.

As long as the status quo continues as it is, Ultima Online will continue to lose players, lots of whom have multiple long-standing veteran accounts that are 12+ years old.  These players will either give up on the entire Ultima Online experience or they will try and seek out one of the many unofficial and free-to-play Ultima Online spin-offs that continues to provide new content and updates for players.

Every time an event cycle begins, it highlights the flaws and problems that go unresolved despite multiple reports by players, often leaving them vulnerable to repeated harassment.  With the recent start of the current event, we are reminded of those failings and shortcomings while old feelings of anger, bitterness, and resentment resurface.  This past year alone has had more people choose to leave the game because of issues related matters that Mesanna oversees.  Players shouldn't have to say goodbye to friends because of the failures and shortcomings of a poor leader.  

Help remove Mesanna by signing the petition that will be sent to Electronic Arts so that we can see the game once again flourish under the leadership of someone who genuinely cares about the player experience.
