Bishop Daniel's actions have done nothing but harm our community in Sydney. The most recent devastating decision was to forcefully and wrongfully remove Fr. Amonious from Saint Mary and Saint Marina Coptic Orthodox Church in Penrith, Sydney, and send him back to Egypt. This unjust action affects 150 families who relied on Fr. Amonious as a spiritual and community leader. This man has built an entire church community with dedication and love.

Bishop Daniel’s relentless actions against priests have resulted in a fractured church community, leaving clergy and congregants in distress. His pattern of behavior is alarming; numerous priests have been removed from their positions in a manner that appears arbitrary and harmful rather than beneficial to the church community. His decisions are not in the interests of the people he should be serving. Instead, they are causing division and distress across the Sydney Coptic Orthodox community.

We have continually voiced complaints and concerns regarding Bishop Daniel's conduct, yet no official action has been taken to address these serious issues. The leadership of the Coptic Orthodox Church must prioritize the well-being and unity of its members by reviewing Bishop Daniel’s role.

We demand transparency and accountability from church leaders in handling these disputes. Only by addressing this issue can we begin to restore trust and unity within our Sydney congregations. Let's unite to ensure that our voices are heard, and that the spirituality, integrity, and unity of our community are preserved.
