Growing up as a lifelong Angels fan, I’ve dedicated countless hours of my time, passion, and hard-earned money into supporting a team that has become a significant part of my life. Unfortunately, under the ownership of Arte Moreno, it feels as if our unwavering loyalty and dedication have not been reciprocated. For too long, this team has languished in mediocrity due to neglectful management and poor operational decisions, causing our beloved Angels to fall short of their true potential.

Arte Moreno, who took over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2003, initially promised competitive teams and a world-class fan experience. Yet, over these years, critical shortcomings in leadership and a distinct lack of investment in both player development and the fan experience have become evident. Despite being one of baseball's more valuable franchises, the Angels have continuously failed to make the postseason, and internal issues reportedly plague the organization.

Under Moreno’s ownership, the team’s management has displayed questionable decision-making, leading to a revolving door of managers and missed opportunities to secure key players who could have changed the trajectory of the franchise. Additionally, fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the current stadium conditions and game-day experiences that fail to honor the dedication of the fanbase.

Moreover, despite possessing baseball icons like Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, little has been done to build a cohesive and competitive team around them. Instead, we see a growing gap between the talent present on the roster and the results on the field. The Angels’ trajectory demonstrates the dire need for a transformational change in leadership to resurrect the promise of competitive play and fan engagement.

We, the loyal fans of the Angels, deserve an owner who prioritizes not just financial gain, but the joy and pride that comes with successful team management. It's time for Arte Moreno to step down and allow for new ownership that can revitalize not only our winning spirit, but the integrity and passion of Angel’s operations.
