This horrifying event is a blatant act of animal abuse that cannot go unpunished. It's unimaginable that innocent animals could continue to suffer under such conditions. We must act to prevent further pain and torture to animals in Vermont.

Animal cruelty laws are in place to prevent such abuses, yet incidents like this remind us that more stringent measures and enforcement are crucial. Animals rely on us for protection, and it's our moral duty to ensure their safety. Allowing abusers to maintain custody of animals they have harmed perpetuates a cycle of fear, injury, and mistrust.

We urge the Vermont legal system to take immediate action by removing all animals from Matthew Hill's care. By doing so, we send a clear message that Vermont does not tolerate animal cruelty.
