Andrew Jackson was one of our most brutal presidents to date. It was under him that the Native Americans were forced to move from their native lands east of the Mississippi to unknown lands west of the Mississippi. Many native Americans died during this process from sickness, fatigue, age, disease, and lack of food and water. Andrew Jackson was the chief architect of what is known as The Trail of Tears. US troops also killed women, children, young, and old. They forced the Native Americans off their land at gunpoint, trickery, getting them drunk, or bribery. The Native American removal was all part of the Indian removal Bill which was passed by Congress and supported by Pres Andrew Jackson. Having Andrew Jackson's face on the $20 bill would be the same effect if Germany were to print money with the likeness of Hitler on it.
