However, this event, meant to be a personal and memorable day, is currently marred by a decision that distances the students from a genuine experience: the employment of an AI voice to announce graduates’ names.

AI technology, while innovative, lacks the personal touch that comes with having a teacher call out students' names. Teachers have cultivated a unique bond with their students throughout their academic journey. They understand the nuances of their names, the stories behind them, and the pride that accompanies each announcement. For many students, hearing their name pronounced correctly and with warmth by a familiar voice is a source of comfort and encouragement as they walk across the stage.
