The Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy Board of Directors appreciates the dedication and passion that our parents and supporters have for our organization.

As a follow up on a parent survey that was sent to all parents of the studio, the Board received no evidence of any wrongdoing by our President, Camille Kohler.

At this time, the Board will not present a motion for removing Ms. Kohler from the President seat and will re-focus our efforts on revitalizing our dance program and preparing for the Summer Ballet Intensive and upcoming season with our new Executive Director taking the charge.

Thank you for completing the survey and being honest about your concerns (and compliments!) about the programs at ACBA. We've had a flurry of activity the past couple of weeks as we settled on the status of the outgoing Executive Director and remaining Board members and are excited to announce that we have a new Executive Director at the helm.

We hope to announce our new Artistic Director in early July.

As always, the Board is committed to ensuring that ACBA is able to provide quality instruction in an environment that is supportive for your dancers and are excited about the upcoming season. Please look for exciting announcements about the additions to our staff once offers and acceptances have been finalized.
