Let’s get more signatures: Relocate Hestia Mental Health Facilities off Richmond Park Road
Hi all, I wanted to let you know that we now have 17 signatures on this petition only after a few days.
Thank you so much for your support!
However, I think we can do better.
It generated 650+ views and there are 112 registered residents in our road alone.
David Price, Hestia’s local i.e. 18 Richmond Park Rd Service Delivery Manager left me a voicemail to apologise for what they think is a one-off incident, not a series of ongoing/repeated disturbances and public issues, instead of Patrick Ryan, or one of their Directors. I am ignoring David for now, just like they ignore us, as its not good enough that the top brass delegate downstream instead of taking their own jobs on with accountability, responsibility and transparency as well as to the local community that tolerates them to operate.
Hestia a non profit, generates a €22m to €86m revenue p/a, even back in 2017, their reported revenue was $19.7 M that year.
Patrick Ryan's CEO approval rating is 33%, poor
They have less than 400 paid staff , supposedly, world wide
They rely on a huge network of volunteers to do/carry out their work, so were is all that money going to? Definitely not into its facilities or services to benefit those that really need them or into community relations, safety, security, oversights/overwatch…something smells in Kingston's Integrated Health Service
I’d like to get 70+ signatures, a good representative sample from our street, as well as from people on Gibbon Road, Burton Road, Acre and possibly Kings Road if they are genuinely affected as their facilities backs onto their properties and are accessed via these local roads.
