The World Trade Center was a complex of skyscrapers in New York City, New York.

After accidentally arriving in New York, while his family was in Florida, Kevin McCallister visited the South Tower and took pictures with his father's camera.[1]

Behind the scenes
The World Trade Center was a complex of seven buildings on Manhattan Island in New York City. The most prominent of these buildings were the "Twin Towers", located close to each other. The towers were finished in April 1973, but were destroyed in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, when two hijacked airplanes were crashed into the buildings.

The towers appear in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, but since September 2001, the scene has been consistently removed from some television channels such as ABC and Fox to avoid association with the attacks, which resulted in nearly 3,000 deaths. Though in channels like Starz, the scene is intact.
