The Issue

Why This Matters

For thousands of Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) aspirants, this recruitment is not merely an examination—it represents years of relentless hard work, sacrifice, and hope.

The recruitment process for 384 Gazetted Probationers has already witnessed the successful completion of the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test. Aspirants have patiently participated in every stage of the selection process and have waited for more than two and a half years for its conclusion.

Today, thousands of candidates continue to live with uncertainty regarding their future.

Many have postponed employment opportunities, higher education, marriage, financial commitments, and other important life decisions while awaiting the completion of this recruitment. Several candidates are also approaching the upper age limit for future competitive examinations, making this prolonged wait even more distressing.

This is not merely about recruitment. It is about the aspirations of thousands of young people and their families who have invested years of dedication in the hope of serving the people of Karnataka through public service.

We fully respect the constitutional process, the independence of the judiciary, and the role of every institution involved. We do not seek any particular outcome in the pending legal proceedings. We only humbly request that the recruitment process reaches its logical conclusion at the earliest, in accordance with law.

An early resolution—whatever the decision in accordance with law—will provide much-needed certainty to deserving candidates, help fill important public service vacancies, and enable selected officers to begin serving the citizens of Karnataka.

Our Humble Appeal

We respectfully request:

The Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka to kindly facilitate the expeditious disposal of the pending matters, if deemed appropriate.

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) to take all necessary steps for the earliest possible declaration of the KAS (384 Posts) final results immediately upon completion of the legal process.

All concerned authorities to ensure that this long-pending recruitment reaches its logical conclusion without avoidable delay.

Thousands of deserving aspirants have waited with patience, dignity, and faith in the system.

Now, they deserve certainty.

If you believe that hardworking candidates deserve a timely conclusion to this recruitment process, please sign and share this petition. Every signature is a voice supporting fairness, certainty, and the aspirations of Karnataka's youth.
