Release the Full Epstein Birthday Book to the Public

Release the Full Epstein Birthday Book to the Public
The Issue
The House Oversight Committee has obtained the so-called “Epstein birthday book”—a document connected to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and currently at the center of public controversy. Portions of the book have already been leaked, including a crude birthday message allegedly signed by President Donald Trump.
The White House denies its authenticity. A defamation lawsuit is underway. And the American public is left in the dark.
This is not how transparency works.
If Congress is going to subpoena records in a case as serious and far-reaching as Epstein’s, then the public deserves full access to what was collected—not carefully curated excerpts, not blurred images, and not political spin from either side.
The birthday book is now a matter of public concern. It’s been cited in congressional investigations, press conferences, defamation lawsuits, and victim statements. It should not be withheld.
We, the undersigned, call on:
- The House Oversight Committee to release the full Epstein birthday book immediately to the public
- Congressional leadership to adopt a consistent policy that documents referenced in official investigations be made public unless classified or legally restricted
- Lawmakers on both sides to respect the public’s right to view the original materials and draw their own conclusions
The Epstein case involves some of the most powerful names in politics, media, business, and global finance. Keeping records like this hidden from view only breeds more distrust.
The only way to stop misinformation is with full disclosure. Release the birthday book. Let the public see the truth.
