The Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU), the oldest & largest organization of parliaments in the world, has adopted anew a decision calling, among others, for the freedom of former Senator Leila de Lima. The decision was made during the session of its Committee on Human Rights of Parliamentarians in its 170th Session held from January 21 to February 2, 2023 in its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
