Subject: Please remove the lifelong house arrest imposed on innocent elderly people and small children.
 
Senior citizens and young children who reside close to Vastrapur Lake are constrained to staying inside because leaving their homes would require them to deal with the congestion caused by excessive traffic, parked vehicles everywhere, and crowds, which is mostly created by handcarts and pushcarts on the roads and pathways.

The government has improved Vastrapur Lake for public use. The Vastrapur neighbourhood has, nevertheless, over time, witnessed the emergence of handcarts and pushcarts selling a variety of food products; vehicles parking everywhere on the roads and footpaths; a taxi stand; a mini truck/tempo stand; a private luxury bus stand, and so on. We kindly request that you relocate everything and everyone permanently somewhere else in a commercial location, away from residential zone, in order to allow Vastrapur and the neighbouring areas' old and young residents to roam freely and without feeling chained to their homes for the rest of their lives.

વસ્ત્રાપુર તળાવની નજીક રહેતા વરિષ્ઠ નાગરિકો અને નાના બાળકો ઘરની અંદર રહેવા માટે મજબુર છે કારણ કે જો તેઓ ઘર ની બહાર નીકળે તો તેઓને અતિશય ભીડ નો સામનો કરવો પડે છે જે મોટે ભાગે રસ્તાઓ અને ચાલવાના માર્ગો પરના લારીઓ અને ગલ્લાઓ ને કારણે પેદા થયેલ અતિશય ટ્રાફિક, દરેક જગ્યાએ પાર્ક કરેલા વાહનો અને ભીડને કારણે છે.

સરકારે વસ્ત્રાપુર તળાવને જાહેર જનતાના ઉપયોગ માટે સુધાર્યું છે. તેમ છતાં સમય જતાં વસ્ત્રાપુરમાં વિવિધ પ્રકારના ખાદ્યપદાર્થો વેંચતા લારીઓ અને ગલ્લાઓ; રસ્તાઓ અને ફૂટપાથ પર દરેક જગ્યાએ વાહનોનું પાર્કિંગ; ટેક્સી સ્ટેન્ડ; મીની ટ્રક/ટેમ્પો સ્ટેન્ડ; ખાનગી લક્ઝરી બસ સ્ટેન્ડ વગેરે નો ઉદભવ જોવા મળ્યો છે. અમે કૃપા કરીને વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ કે તમે આ દરેકને કાયમી ધોરણે વ્યાપારી સ્થળે, રહેણાંક વિસ્તારથી દૂર, અન્યત્ર સ્થાનાંતરિત કરો જેથી વસ્ત્રાપુર અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારોના વૃદ્ધ રહેવાસીઓ અને નાના બાળકો તેમના બાકીના જીવન દરમ્યાન તેઓ ઘરોમાં બંધાયેલા છે તેવો અનુભવ કર્યા વિના મુક્તપણે ઘર ની બહાર ફરી શકે.
