The Issue

The Anglo-Indian community has always been a vibrant thread in the global cultural fabric, known for a rich heritage that bridges continents. Today, we are ready to share our stories through a unique lens. Our community is a powerhouse of artistic talent, and through our cinematic universe, we aim to showcase the nuance, humor, and heart of the Anglo-Indian experience.

One of the flagship films we are championing for global OTT platforms is "Calcutta, I'm Sorry." This film beautifully captures the essence of our journey—moving through themes of family, search, and redemption—as it follows a determined woman's journey on a bicycle from the hills of Coonoor to the bustling streets of Chennai. It is a story of a woman’s quest for a hug from a granddaughter she has never met, representing the deep emotional roots and resilience of our people.

By supporting this campaign, you are helping us amplify voices that have remained on the periphery for too long. Through films like Calcutta, I'm Sorry, the world will finally see us as we are: a talented, spirited people with stories that deserve to be told on the global silver screen.
