Australians are working harder, paying more, and falling further behind.

The 2026 Federal Budget changes risk putting even more pressure on everyday Australians already struggling with tax, housing, cost of living, and retirement.

Young Australians are being priced out of home ownership. Working families are watching more of their money disappear. Retirees are worried about being squeezed again. Small investors and people trying to build a future are being punished for trying to get ahead.

I started this petition because I was sick of sitting around having a whinge and doing nothing. Maybe we can change something, maybe we won’t, but at least Australians can stand up and be counted.

This is not about left or right politics. It is about whether everyday Australians still get a fair go.

We are calling on Anthony Albanese, Jim Chalmers, Angus Taylor and all federal decision makers to reject or reconsider the budget changes that make life harder for working Australians.
