Dear Supporters,
I’m reaching out with an update that's both inspiring and a call to action. First off, a huge THANK YOU to each of you for your incredible support so far. Since the public hearing on Monday, Jan. 22, our momentum has been nothing short of phenomenal, and it's all because of you.
Our Progress:
- Before the Public Hearing: We were averaging 35 signatures per day.
- Since 1/22/24, we’ve seen a surge in support!
- 01/22/24: 329 signatures
- 01/23/24: 192 signatures
- 01/24/24: 434 signatures (an astonishing 27 signatures per hour!)
- 01/25/24: 219 signatures
- 01/26/24: 52 signatures
- Total as of 08:21 AM Today: 1,769 signatures
- That is 1,226 Signatures since this past Monday, Jan. 22
While this is fantastic, we know we can do even better. The insurance board has already received over 6,000 letters opposing the increase, and we're at a third of that number. It's a great start, but we can't stop now.
Here's Our Goal:
We want to double our current signature count by Sunday evening. With 2.87 million homeowners in NC, every single signature is a step towards preventing this drastic insurance rate increase. And it's not just homeowners who are affected – renters and business owners will feel the impact too.
