The residents of Minneola and the surrounding region face a significant threat to their new community. Richland's original plan 40 years ago was to create a peaceful, family-oriented environment for single-family homes. However, this is now at risk due to proposed rezoning that aims to increase the number of apartments and industrial activity in our area.

The consequences of such rezoning are far-reaching. It will likely reduce home prices, making it harder for families who have invested their life savings into their homes to secure financial stability. Increased traffic will also pose safety risks and negatively impact our quality of life.

Furthermore, an influx of industrial activity could harm our environment and health. Our children deserve a safe and healthy place to grow up - not an area overrun by industry.
