FROM A REAL TAXPAYER: “The official taxpayers, as far as I can tell, are all against both of these projects and the developers who are out to make a buck, of course, are totally into this. I'm sure that not one developer will be living here to share in these incredibly high future taxes. Most European countries have dismantled trams because they are so outdated, but here in Fort Lauderdale, we are just starting. What's wrong with this picture? Has anyone even considered the fact that if they start all of this construction at Bahia Mar, that the traffic will just be one huge bumper to bumper traffic. It's bad enough now, but with a projected 10 years of construction, it's just a disaster in the making. Who needs any of this? Not one single taxpayer that I know!!!!!”
