Reissue all albums of The Comsat Angels on vinyl/CD

Le problème

In an era where vinyl has seen a resurgence in popularity and is treasured more than ever for its authenticity and superior sound quality, it's time to give the cult British post-punk band, The Comsat Angels, the recognition they deserve. With a career spanning over a decade, The Comsat Angels have produced a treasure trove of music that has inspired countless artists and continues to resonate with fans old and new. Yet, their discography remains largely inaccessible to collectors and audiophiles who crave the rich, warm sound of vinyl records.

The Comsat Angels, consisting of Stephen Fellows, Kevin Bacon, Mik Glaisher, and Andy Peake, formed in the late 1970s and established themselves with a series of critically acclaimed albums that captured the essence of their era and have stood the test of time. Their distinctive sound, characterized by atmospheric guitars, evocative lyrics, and innovative melodies, has made a lasting impact on the post-punk and new wave movements.

Despite their influence, the majority of their nine LPs/CDs have been long out of print on vinyl, leaving a void in the collections of true music enthusiasts. With the increasing demand for high-quality, tangible music formats, reprinting these albums on vinyl is not only a homage to their enduring legacy but also an opportunity for a new generation of listeners to discover their unique artistry.

We call upon record labels, music distributors, and industry gatekeepers to recognize the enduring legacy of The Comsat Angels by making their full catalog available on vinyl. Reissuing these albums would not only honor the band's contribution to music history but also meet the growing consumer demand for vinyl reissues of classic albums.

Join us in urging the powers that be to bring back The Comsat Angels’ incredible music catalog on vinyl  or CD. Sign this petition to show your support and help preserve their remarkable legacy for generations to come.
