We have had an incredible 24 hours! Not only are we approaching over 70 signatures, but I have already received a direct response from Cllr Chris Boden, the Chairman of the CPCA Transport Committee.

The Good News: Cllr Boden has confirmed he "wholly agrees" that a through-service to Peterborough is a better option for residents.

The Challenge: He highlighted that "legal and commercial competition" rules currently prevent the X32 from competing with Stagecoach on the Whittlesey-to-Peterborough stretch. This is exactly the kind of "red tape" our campaign needs to break through.

Next Steps: > 1. I have formally submitted our case and Cllr Boden’s response to the Peterborough Telegraph to bring public pressure to this issue.

2. I have proposed a "Limited Stop/Express" workaround to the Council to bypass the competition hurdles.

We are no longer just a petition; we are a conversation at the highest level of local government. Please keep sharing the link—reaching 100 signatures will be our next major leverage point to show the Council we mean business!
