On 8/6/24, our community was stricken with an unexpected change as our beloved Property Manager, Amanda Linker, was unlawfully terminated from her position at Austin Heights Apartments in Muskogee, OK. This property is managed by Wilhoit Properties Inc and owned by Zimmerman Properties.
Without any form of written or verbal communication to us, the residents, we suddenly found ourselves without a Property Manager. Fears of residents moving out or possible retaliation have apparently pushed the upper management of Austin's Heights into silence. However, this secrecy does nothing but harm for our community.
With the sudden disappearance of Amanda, our safety was compromised. We residents are now required to pay rent into an unmonitored box, placing us at risk. Besides, reported maintenance issues are ignored, and concerns about health and safety are not being addressed - all these issues are being breached within our signed leases.
This is an urgent appeal to reinstate Amanda and restore peace and order in our residential community. If the respective authorities do not take proper action against this unlawful removal, our livelihoods will be impaired.
