Students and staff at Spaulding have been greatly impacted by the recent change in Wifi systems and permissions throughout the Rochester School District. Having been heavily relying on technology in the classroom, our learning environment can no longer function efficiently with these changes. While it’s true that students and teachers at Spaulding have been provided with Chromebooks, these computers have limited access and performance power. Not only this, it’s extremely difficult if not impossible to consistently receive any notifications about classwork, meetings, or administrative announcements throughout the school day. The goal of this petition is to formally represent our voice as the student/faculty body. We deserve and require the resources we had gotten used to.
