As an ardent fan of theme parks and running, I, along with many others, have either had the opportunity or missed out on the chance to run through Universal Studios due to covid-19. This event was more than just a race; it was an experience that brought together runners and theme park enthusiasts alike. The cancellation of this event has left a void in our community.

The Running Universal 5K & 10K Race is not only beneficial for participants but also for Universal Orlando itself. It provides an opportunity for the park to host future events and showcase its backstage areas, adding another layer of attraction for visitors.

According to Statista (2020), running events have seen a significant increase in participation over the past decade, indicating that reinstating this race could attract a large number of attendees. Furthermore, as per Theme Park Insider (2019), such events contribute positively towards local tourism and economy.

We believe that bringing back this event would not only satisfy fans like us but also contribute significantly towards reviving local tourism post-pandemic.
