Born in the early 2000s, I hanker after an era I never lived in – the good ol' 70s. Not just for the retro vibe or classic music, but for the wholesome content, and the balanced portrayal of masculinity and femininity in our culture, which seems skewed today. I stand up not against feminism, but in favor of not eclipsing masculinity. My plea is also about an economic imbalance that urgently needs rectification. The amusement parks, entertainment platforms such as EA, Disney, Netflix etc. that once entertained us with joy are now burning holes in our pockets. As an example, I remember a time when a bag of M&Ms cost only around $3 in a gas station. Now, at Disneyland, we're asked to pay $17 for a pound of the same candy!

This is not about rejecting the new or condemning the old. This is a call for balance. I plead for a return of affordability in our entertainment platforms and for the restoration of masculine content that seems to be slowly fading away in the face of overbearing commercialization and social imbalance.

THIS is our nation, OUR culture and WE need fixing.
