The hospital in Brighton has one birth pool, which is out of action and is not planned to be repaired.

Families want the option of water birth, for drug free pain relief, mobility, privacy & a host of other benefits.

Women & birthing people need this option, without it, we will see an increase in families choosing to birth without medical assistance, as well as conversely an increase in epidurals & c sections, which surely would cost the NHS more than fixing the pool.

We want the pool reinstated.
