Our beloved Jagannath pujari at the Hindu Center has been asked to resign due to an accidental financial transaction related to an offsite puja. This sudden decision leaves him, a holder of an immigration visa, and his two dependents in a precarious situation with no alternatives. The Odia community in Carolinas, particularly in Charlotte, NC, deeply appreciates his worship of Jagannath and feels this loss keenly.

He is not just a pujari; he is an integral part of our community and our lives. His dedication to his duties has always been exemplary and it is unjust for him to lose his position over one mistake. We believe that everyone deserves a second chance.
