Since South Lanarkshire Council withdrew all school transport from Sandford to Strathaven Academy, every child in our village has been left without safe travel. The only walking route is along a 60mph road with a narrow, unlit path and no protective barriers — and winter is fast approaching.

We need to make as much noise as possible so the Council has no choice but to listen.
