Nelson Minyetty is a beloved member of the Independence Harbor community who was unfairly dismissed by Maverick Security at the behest of Management and the Board of Directors without consulting with the residents. Nelson has been a dedicated security guard, ensuring our safety and well-being for years. His commitment to our community is unparalleled, and his presence has always made us feel welcome and secure.

The decision to dismiss him was made without any input from those who know him best—the residents of Independence Harbor. We believe this action was unjust and does not reflect the wishes of our community. Nelson remains unemployed and has yet to be placed at another location by Maverick despite empty promises from Maverick and false assurances by our Management and Board. 

Please join us in demanding that the Board of Directors and Management  insist that Maverick Security immediately reinstate Nelson Minyetty to the position of security guard at Independence Harbor.  Should Maverick Security deny this request, then the community demands that the Board of Directors and Management replace Maverick with another security company that will bring Nelson back.  

Should the Board of Directors or Management ignore or deny this petition, we ask the community to make the changes at the ballot box by voting in new Board members that will respect the wishes of the community.
