This petition aims to reinstate the permit given by Montgomery County's District Of Permitting Service (DPS) and ensure continuous use of the land outlined in the original permit that has been revoked and a cease and desist issued, with continued use of the land punishable by a 500$ fine. 

             This revocation of the land within Montgomery County's Agricultural Reserve has adversely affected both local residents and visitors. The land that has been designated for use by Montgomery County's District Of Permitting Service has been planned to be used by preforming bands as a venue for "Shows" that both respect and promote the Reserve's mission. 

All participating artists and attendees are fully committed to the preservation of the reserve and its condition. With this all persons involved have pledged to prevent damage to the property before, during and after each performance.

 To date, these events have provided safe, inclusive and non-discriminatory spaces for all - regardless of gender, race, age, identity, or sexual orientation. With these spaces offering a crucial and deserved safe outlet for creative expression that many areas lack.

The primary goal of these artists has always been to honor the Reserve and to draw attention to the importance of its long term use and protection, whilst providing a welcoming environment for all. 

Therefore we request that the permit be reinstated so that these benefits may continue.
