This is personal to me as I am a victim of waking up and not finding my truck in my driveway where I left it. Total devastation. Stolen October of 2022 and I still have nightmares about my truck not being in my driveway.

Due to the high rate of stolen vehicles, why haven't car/truck companies gone back to key ignition? Especially Ram owned by Stellantis. Modern push-to-start systems are convenient but have made vehicles easier targets for thieves using advanced technology. According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, vehicle thefts increased by 11% from 2019 to 2020, with many experts attributing this rise to vulnerabilities in keyless entry systems.

We urge car manufacturers, particularly Stellantis for their Ram trucks, to consider reinstating traditional key ignitions or significantly improving security measures on current push-to-start systems. Help us make our vehicles safer and reduce the risk of theft.
