As a Heavy Equipment Company servicing the Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes region, we are deeply concerned about the suspension of the Heavy Equipment and Generator Technician courses at Fleming College. Many of our dedicated employees have received quality education from these programs, equipping them with essential skills to serve our community effectively.

In Canada, we are currently facing a country-wide tradesperson shortage. 
The suspension of these vital programs at Fleming College is not only detrimental to our company but also to the wider Peterborough community and beyond. We believe that access to education in these trades should be a priority rather than facing elimination.

We urge Fleming College administration to reconsider their decision and reinstate both the Heavy Equipment and Generator Technician courses.
