I had the great privilege to witness firsthand the transformation of the football program at Peabody Magnet High under the tutelage of Coach Harry Coleman. In just two years, despite minimal resources and support, Coach Coleman managed to turn our team into playoff contenders, an apt testament to his dedication and coaching acumen. The young 'lions' who put their all on the field each week did so galvanized by Coleman's motivational leadership, pouring their heart and effort into each game. The fruits of their labor may have fallen short this season, but their drive and spirit undeniably remain a victory in and of itself.

Dishearteningly, Coach Harry Coleman has been stripped of his position as Head Football Coach, a decision that threatens to stifle the momentum he has successfully cultivated within the team and the wider sporting community. We firmly assert that this decision, far from being in the best interests of the team or the school, actually undermines the hard work and progress made in recent years.

The reinstatement of Coach Harry Coleman is not only about restoring an exceptional coach to his rightful position, but it's also about acknowledging the essential role he plays in cultivating sporting excellence, team spirit, and personal growth amongst our student-athletes.
