I am a regular user of Snapchat and its games have always brought me immense joy. They were a unique feature that set the platform apart from others. However, recently, Snapchat has shifted its focus to the 'Spotlight' feature - a decision that has not resonated with many users like myself.

Snapchat's games were not just about fun; they also fostered connections among users. According to Statista, as of Q2 2020, there were 238 million daily active Snapchat users worldwide. Many of these users engaged in gaming activities on the platform (source: Statista). The removal of this feature has taken away an important social interaction tool for us.

We understand that Spotlight is designed to compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels by allowing users to share short videos. However, it seems like it hasn't gained as much traction among the user base as expected.

By reinstating games on Snapchat while maintaining new features like Spotlight, we believe that Snap Inc can cater to a wider audience and enhance user satisfaction overall.
