Dear Supporters,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of a respected member in our community and a passionate football player, Fale Atuaia. Fale has been unjustly disqualified from participating in the upcoming HHSAA State Football Championship Game. 

Fale’s selfless actions and commitment to mentoring have set him as a role model for our youth. Disqualifying him from the championship on grounds that his actions were malicious is a mischaracterization of Fale’s integrity and character. His disqualification not only adversely impacts him but also our community that rallies behind him.

A reconsideration of this decision is not just a course correction but a revalidation of the HHSAA’s commitment to fairness, empathy, and justice. This simple act stands as a testament to us listening, understanding, and acting upon the nuances of situations rather than dismissing them outright.

We kindly urge the HHSAA Appeals Committee to revisit their decision and allow Fale Atuaia to play in the HHSAA State Football Championship Game. Let's not judge actions without understanding intent. Instead, let's advocate for a fair reconsideration of the decision.
